What decides the cost of your move
We don't publish a rate card, because no two Karachi homes are the same — a 2-bed on the ground floor in Gulshan and a 2-bed on the fourth floor with no lift are completely different jobs. Here's exactly what the surveyor is weighing up when he quotes you.
Volume of goods
Carton count, big furniture and appliances — this sets the vehicle size and how many hands are needed.
Distance & access
Gulshan to Jauhar is a short hop; Malir to DHA is not. Narrow lanes that block a truck add labour time.
Floor & lift
Stairs without a lift means more men, more hours. It's the single biggest surprise on cheap quotes.
Packing level
Full packing by us, fragile-only, or you pack and we lift — each changes both material and man-hours.
Extra work
Split AC removal, geyser disconnection, wardrobe dismantle, curtain rods — quoted as add-ons, never hidden.

Real material, not old newspaper

Crockery is boxed cell-by-cell. TV screens travel upright, never flat. Mattresses go in covers, not on the floor of the truck. Wooden furniture is blanket-wrapped and corner-guarded before it goes anywhere near a doorframe.
What to do before moving day
Do these and your shift finishes hours earlier. Skip them and the crew waits while you hunt for the wardrobe key.
- Book the survey. Slots at month-end fill first — that's when most Karachi tenancies turn over.
- Give notice to your landlord or building management, and confirm lift access for moving day.
- Sort and discard. Every carton you don't move is money and time saved.
- Defrost the fridge and empty the deep freezer — a wet fridge cannot be moved safely.
- Get AC work booked if the splits are coming with you; a technician needs a slot of his own.
- Pack a personal bag — documents, jewellery, medicines, chargers. These never go in the truck.
- Keep a parking spot free outside both buildings so the truck isn't stuck on the road.
- Walk the crew through the house once — flag the fragile pieces before anyone touches them.
- Do a final sweep of cupboards, the store room and the roof before the truck pulls away.

How do I get a price for house shifting in Karachi?
Call us or fill in the form and we send a surveyor to your home free of charge. He counts the goods, checks the floors and lane access, and gives you a fixed written estimate. Nothing is charged for the visit, and you're under no obligation to book.
Do you provide the packing material?
Yes — cartons, bubble wrap, stretch film, corner guards, blankets and tape all arrive with the crew on packing day. If you'd rather pack yourself, we can drop material a day early and adjust the estimate accordingly.
How long does a house shift take?
A 2-bed apartment with packing is usually a single day, roughly four to seven hours door to door. Larger homes with full packing are normally split across two days — pack one day, move the next — so nothing gets rushed at the end.
Will you dismantle beds, wardrobes and ACs?
Furniture dismantle and reassemble is part of the standard house shifting service. Split AC removal and re-installation is done by a qualified technician and is quoted as an add-on at the survey — tell the surveyor how many units are coming with you.
What if there's no lift and I'm on the 4th floor?
We put extra labour on the job rather than running it with a short crew. That's precisely why the survey asks about floors and lifts — so the manpower and the price are right on the day, not renegotiated on your doorstep.
Are my goods insured during the move?
Goods insurance is available on request and must be arranged before the move. Mention it to the surveyor and it will be listed in your written estimate.
Can you shift my home on a Sunday or at night?
Yes. Crews run Monday to Sunday, 9:00 to 21:00, and after-hours moves can be arranged where the building allows it — useful when the lift is only free late in the evening.
Do you shift homes from Karachi to other cities?
Yes — Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, Quetta and Peshawar, in sealed covered trucks. Your car can travel on a separate car carrier so it doesn't pick up highway mileage.
What should I not pack in the truck?
Keep documents, jewellery, cash, medicines, house keys and phone chargers in a bag that stays with you. Gas cylinders and flammable liquids should not travel with household goods either — empty them before moving day.
Can I store my goods for a few days between moves?
Yes. Short-term storage is available for the gap between handing over one home and getting possession of the next — tell us the dates and it goes into your estimate.
